How do I get a 401(k) when I do not have anywhere close to $410,000?
The 401(k), like the bills above, never seems to land in our lap. How do so many people have this kind of money? Even if only half of workers are offered a 401(k) option, and only 30% have one in USA, that means at least 50 million people have a 401(k)!!.
50 million times $401,000 = Over $20 Trillion.
The national debt is not yet there! (Give it a few hours, though). Why are people whining about national debt when we could wipe it out with these 401(k) plans? Oh, I guess they don't want to give their retirement to the US government, because that has already happened with social security.
What's that?!?!?!? Did someone just say that the 401(k) does not mean that it has $401,000 in it?
Why is it called 401(k) then? Because of the IRS (they want some of it). That's stupid! It sounds like people want to make saving money for retirement confusing to morons like me!
