Benjamin Franklin is on the $100 bill. He was never a president of the United States of America. One way that he made money was selling slaves, but don't worry, a lot of people did that back then, so it was okay. Later he freed his slaves and thought slavery was bad, but he still had 44 Benjamins (over 1000 Benjamins in today's currency) from all those people he sold! That's why he is on the $100 bill. He talked one way about selling people, but he still had plenty from selling them.
This is the biggest bill you are going to get. If someone offers you a $500 bill or a $1,000 bill remember this post that it is not real! I know, so tempting to give them the broken iPhone 10 for that bill, but it is not real!
There is no $500 bill!
There is no $1,000 bill!
Also, a $100 bill is a lot of money. It can buy a lot of things. It can buy a lot at Taco Bell, and a little at R.E.I. It can come in handy in emergencies, and is about how much some of your monthly bills are (you already spent it). It is harder, usually, to part with the Benjamin than with a debit or credit of the same value, because you see it leaving and it looks so pretty.
